i have to say, without offense ment, this this sounds nothing like war. war is a constant noise. my cousin in iraq sent me a tape of what it was like, and i had to stop it before the end. The sound of the dying soldiers, the immensly loud sound of gunfire, and the craziness of it all made me think- why the hell do they do it, and how? i not saying its bad, its still great.
Author's Response:
i wasnt trying to make it sound crazy, its a tribute. memories of heros not death itself. but no offence taken.

ive always been inspired by the men who battle through the hardship of war. This song is a great tribute. I find this especially great because me cousin left for iraq 4 days ago.

awesome! i love music in this style! its my absalute fav ever! this song goes #1 on my music favs! It reminds me of the scene in gladiator after the battle... hes walking out of the woods, a slight smile on his face, he was victorious.
an example of a movie script for this: ...neither side had a chance of knowing who would win. They had been battling for many days, painfully and tiredly, the sun blazing down on to their backs. a man falls, unable to bear the pain. The men are collpasing on one of the sides! We Have been victorious! We linp up to the hill, a half-smile on our scarred faces. We have won.

very fitting as a movie theme- i have to agree with you. The title fits perfectly! i love how you dont go crazy on the pads and synths. you did the perfect amount. One you reach 1:29 the song turns into a totally awesome boom, and then a cool interlude. I love the choir synth that you used, its very fitting for the piece! send me updates on your music!
